  1. The highest professional standards of excellence shall be observed when serving clients.
  2. The content of all communications should be honest and accurate.
  3. Employees shall be fair when dealing with past or present employers/clients, with colleagues, and with members of other professions.
  4. Where an employee works with a member of another profession, the ethical codes of this profession must be known to and be binding upon this employee.
  5. The values and beliefs of the employees, and their subsequent right to decline a duty, shall be respected when assigning their tasks.
  6. The spirit and letter of all laws, including securities regulations, lobby registration disclosure requirements, human rights codes and regulations, and intellectual property rights must be upheld.
  7. The express consent of those concerned, received after a full disclosure of the facts, is required for the representation of conflicting or competing interests.
  8. No confidential information derived from a professional activity can be used by employees to seek personal gain or to the detriment of an organization in any way.
  9. Employees must fully respect the principles of confidentiality both during and after their employment.
